I recently purchased a used 2017 Mazda 6 (6MT 2.5L NA), and have been experiencing pretty poor city fuel economy. I'm averaging between 18-20 mpg in the city, which is quite a bit below the stated fuel economy. I'm using 87 as recommended, but I understand that it is a high compression engine, so maybe 89 would give better results?
