Yousaid that the 990s are 'closed in nature' and are good for gaming and so on. Would you know how this compares to the 770s which are closed? I'm looking for headphones that are good for both gaming and music so I'm a little troubled as to get open or closed headphones, thanks beyerdynamic DT 990 PRO upvote
Therefore Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro is good for gaming, studio recording, and casual use. In simpler words, if you want clear and beautifully transcending highs, and decent lows, you should definitely
Beyerdynamicdt 770 250 ohm, or 990 250 ohm for gaming? Home. Forums. Help and Getting Started. up to 600 ohm. i need a headphone to pair with it and ive been looking at the Beyerdynamic dt 770 250ohm pro and the dt 990 250ohm pro. im going to be using the dolby surround for most games but i want a good stereo quality
The770 is less accurate in the low end due to the closed back design, the 990 doesn't isolate you from the room, so it sounds more natural, and less fatiguing to work with for long periods. I've done a bunch of mixing on the 990 and they are a very nice headphone. I also have the 770's I use for people in the studio as a guest monitor.
Youdon't need a pricey AMP. If the DAC on your MB is fine (no static noise etc), you can spend 20-30USD and get a decent amp from Fosi or Aiyima. I wouldn't suggest cutting from Headphone budget. Yeah, you could also get something like the ibasso dc05 or shanling ua1 pro for the dt 770 80 ohm. get the 80 ohm one.

Compared to the 990 Pros, I'd say that the 990s have a more airy sound, while the 770s have better bass. Overall their sound signature is still very similar. I prefer closed headphones (such as the 770 Pro) for
Solution #2. i take it that you are referring to the beyerdynamic dt990 pro 250ohm which is available for about $200? and not the more expensive premium line which is available in a 32oh version not requiring an amplifier? the dt990 250ohm are notoriously hard to drive so you will want a decently powerful amplifier.
Acomplete review on Beyerdynamic DT990 PRO (250 Ohms) to see if it is a good headphone. See prices, ratings and complaints. (Gaming, Music) in 2023; The Beyerdynamic DT 990 PRO and the AKG K702 are both excellent headphones for general audiences, with essentially little difference in implementation.
Its a better idea to go the amp/DAC route. What you'd foremost need is likely an amp. In essence, the higher the impedance of your headphones and the lower their sensitivity,
