Probably something was not reconnected. Remaining problem, which we have a problem with already for over a year: around 90-100 km/h (RPM around 2000) the engine is unsteady and there is a big lack of power. The car hardly goes any faster then 120-130 km/h, while before we easy reached higher speeds.

My 2.7CRD Grand Cherokee sometimes hangs the revs at around 1200rpm for a few second before slowly settling down to the usual 750 ish idle. 2002 2.7crd grand cherokee wont change gear. « on: November 19, 2006, 13:45:30 ». Hi all, my Jeep has just stopped changing gear, it will go into reverse and forward gear but will not change upwards; max speed of 40mph. The fault light that looks like a gearbox has also come on. There is no dipstick to check the oil for some reason.

The black plug pushes / pulls out 1 or 2 mm but ive pulled, twisted, squeezed for an hour - but I cant get it off / open - and I dont want to break it.. Ive searched for vids / info but no one seems to specifically say how it comes off. The FSM just says "Press locking ring at bleeder valve in direction of arrow and pull off seal."
